Zucchini Casserole with Minced Meat and Mozzarella
Ingredients
- Courgette 2 pieces
- Veal Mince 20 oz
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Sour Cream 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Khmeli-suneli to taste
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Onion 1 head
- Pizza Mozzarella Cheese 5 oz
- Herbs to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater. Sprinkle with salt and mix; the zucchini will release a lot of juice. Squeeze well and drain the liquid.
Step 2
Fry the minced meat in a small amount of vegetable oil together with finely chopped onion.
Step 3
Add Khmeli-Suneli to taste.
Step 4
Add salt.
Step 5
In a bowl, combine 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of sour cream, a little salt, and pepper.

Whisk until smooth.
Step 7
In a baking dish, layer half of the grated zucchini.

Add the fried minced meat as the second layer.

Then add the remaining half of the zucchini.
Step 10
Pour the egg-sour cream mixture on top.
Step 11
Grate the mozzarella on a coarse grater.
Step 12
Spread the grated mozzarella as the top layer.
Step 13
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 355°F until golden brown.
Step 14
Serve the casserole hot, garnished with a sprig of herbs.
