Ingredients

  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Chicken fillet 20 oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper a pinch
  • Puff Pastry 15 pieces
  • Turmeric ½ teaspoon
  • Cayenne Pepper ½ teaspoon
  • English Dry Mustard 1 teaspoon
  • White Pepper (whole) ½ teaspoon
  • Cream 22% 10 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the chicken fillet on a large greased sheet of foil, lightly salt and pepper it, and seal it tightly. Bake in the oven at 355°F for 30 minutes. Allow to cool and remove from the 'envelope'.

Step 2

Lightly grease a small baking dish with low sides and place the meat in it. Bake the pastry triangles in the oven on the baking setting for 20-30 minutes (they are served separately with the dish).

Step 3

Mix the turmeric, cayenne pepper, mustard, salt, and pepper with the cream and lightly whisk. Heat the mixture over low heat until it comes to a boil, then remove from heat. Pour it over the meat. Simmer the meat on low heat for another 15-20 minutes.
