Ingredients
- Maggi Würze Sauce 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil 6 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Garlic 12 cloves
- Striploin steak 2 pieces
- Rice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the Maggi sauce, oil, pepper, and finely chopped garlic in a wide, shallow dish. Place the steaks in the marinade and rub them with it. Cover and let marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Step 2
Remove the steaks from the marinade and discard the garlic pieces. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.
Step 3
Transfer the cooked steaks to a cutting board and cover with foil. Cook the rice. Then, slice the steaks thinly against the grain and serve with rice and the pan juices.
Step 4
You can also place the rice in the skillet and mix it with the juices left from the meat. The finished dish can be drizzled with Maggi sauce.
