Viennese schnitzel cooked in vegetable oil
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Milk 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Breadcrumbs 5 oz
- Veal Escalope 4 pieces
- Lemon 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the egg with milk and vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper. In another bowl, place some flour. Finally, in a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
Step 2
Use a rolling pin to pound the scallops until they become tender.
Step 3
Then, coat them in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and finally roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Sauté in a hot skillet with a small amount of vegetable oil. When they are halfway cooked, flip them to the other side.
Step 5
Serve the scallops with a wedge of lemon.
