Ingredients
- Tomatoes 15 oz
- Scallions 5 oz
- Parsley 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 2 cups
- Basil ½ teaspoon
- Oregano ½ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, slowly mix the flour with the baking soda.
Step 2
Chop the parsley and green onions and add them to the flour.
Step 3
Dice the tomatoes, add them to the flour and herb mixture, sprinkle with oregano and basil, season with salt and pepper, and mix everything until a thick and sticky mass forms.
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan or deep pot and heat it.
Step 5
With wet hands, shape small balls from the tomato-flour mixture and fry them in hot oil until bright orange.
