Vegetable goulash with paprika
Ingredients
- Garlic 1 clove
- Onion 1 piece
- Salad Potatoes 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Cauliflower ½ head
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Paprika 2 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Tomatoes 15 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Herb Bouquet to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the potatoes into cubes.
Step 2
Chop the onion and garlic finely.
Step 3
Cut the carrot into sticks, each about 2.5 cm long.
Step 4
Separate the cauliflower at the branching points of the florets.
Step 5
In a pot, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Next, add the paprika, potatoes, carrots, and cauliflower.
Step 7
After a couple of minutes, add salt, pepper to taste, and finely chopped tomatoes (canned in their own juice is fine).
Step 8
If there is not enough juice, you can add vegetable broth.
Step 9
Cover with a lid and let it simmer until ready (about 20–25 minutes).
Step 10
To thicken, add 2 tablespoons of flour 5–10 minutes before the end.
