Vegetable Casserole with Ground Meat
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Courgette 0 lbs
- Tomatoes 3 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Lean Beef 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Herbs to taste
- Hard Cheese 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the well-washed bell peppers in a bag and tie it. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Let cool without removing from the bag.
Step 2
Slice the zucchini into rounds and sauté in a small amount of oil. Arrange in a baking dish.
Step 3
Sauté the diced onion until golden brown.
Step 4
Add spices to the prepared ground meat, mix it with the onion and parsley. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the zucchini.
Step 5
Remove the stems and seeds from the peppers, peel them. Dice the peppers and place them on top of the meat.
Step 6
Peel the tomatoes, chop them, and place them on the peppers. Add the peeled garlic cloves on top of the tomatoes.
Step 7
Sprinkle everything with spices and salt. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes at 355°F. Remove, take off the foil, and bake for another 10 minutes. Sprinkle the casserole with grated cheese and bake for an additional 3 minutes.
