Veal with Cheese
Ingredients
- Veal Fillet 15 oz
- Smoked Ham on the Bone 4 pieces
- Hard Cheese 5 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
- Scallions 0 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Broth 2 cups
- Sour Cream 5 tablespoons
- Dill to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the meat, pound it, season with salt and pepper. Cut the cheese into cubes and chop the green onion. Place 1 slice of ham on each piece of meat, then add cheese and onion. Roll up the meat and secure with toothpicks. Sauté in heated oil until browned. Add finely chopped garlic.
Step 2
Pour in the broth and simmer covered for 40-50 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the rolls. To the remaining mixture after frying, add sour cream, reduce, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Serve with pasta and sour cream sauce, garnished with herbs.
