- Devzira Rice 5 oz
- Lamb 10 oz
- Carrot 0 oz
- Onion 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Toasted Cumin Seeds 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper 0 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice in advance and soak it in cold water for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the meat into cubes, the carrot into strips, and the onion into half-rings.
Step 3
Pour vegetable oil into a cauldron, wait for it to heat up, then add the meat and vegetables. Fry everything for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Next, pour water into the cauldron with the meat and vegetables, wait for it to boil, and only then add the rice.
Step 5
Mix everything well, reduce the heat to low, and cover with a lid.
Step 6
After about 10 minutes, add salt, pepper, and cumin, mix again, and cover with the lid for another 7 minutes.
Step 7
Serve with chopped herbs and vegetables.
