Uzbek Lagman with Radish
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 25 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Beef 30 oz
- Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz
- Salad Potatoes 10 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Garlic 0 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 5 oz
- Radish 5 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Tomatoes 10 oz
- Dill to taste
- Parsley to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Knead the dough and let it rest for 2 hours. Roll out the finished dough thinly and cut it into long noodles.
Step 2
Boil the resulting noodles, drain in a colander, rinse, and coat with vegetable oil.
Step 3
Next, prepare the meat with vegetables. Slice the onion and bell pepper into half-rings; cut fresh tomatoes into wedges; dice the carrot, radish, and potatoes into small cubes. Sauté the meat, cut into small pieces, in vegetable oil with the onion, then add fresh tomatoes (or tomato puree). After 5–10 minutes, add the carrot, radish, pepper, minced garlic, and continue to sauté for another 8–10 minutes.
Step 4
Then add water, place the potatoes, add spices to taste, and simmer until cooked. Place the finished noodles in a deep plate, top with the vegetables and meat, and sprinkle with herbs.
