Ingredients

  • Chickpea 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 20 oz
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Olive Oil 5 fl oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a bowl, mix salt and flour, gradually adding water and half of the oil, whisking the batter continuously. It should be quite liquid. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 200–430°F. Grease round baking pans well with oil, and even if you are using parchment paper, it should also be greased with oil. Pour a thin layer of batter into the two pans and place them in the oven for 15–20 minutes, either one at a time or together, depending on your oven's capacity.

Step 3

Once ready, serve at the table. Before serving, you can sprinkle with black pepper.
