Turnip with Carrots
Ingredients
- Turnips 25 oz
- Olive Oil 6 tablespoons
- Carrot 25 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the turnip and carrots and cut them lengthwise into 2 or 4 pieces, depending on their thickness. Finely chop the onion.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pot, add the onion, and cook on low heat, stirring, for 6 minutes until it becomes soft and translucent. Add the carrots and turnip, stir in the flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything well and add enough water to cover all the vegetables.
Step 3
Cook on low heat for 30 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Transfer the vegetables along with the sauce to a warmed dish and serve immediately.
