Turkey, Zucchini, and Tomato Casserole
Ingredients
- Turnips 3 pieces
- Onion 3 heads
- Turkey 20 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Courgette 1 piece
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Parmesan Cheese 0 oz
- Cheshire Cheese 0 oz
- Sour Cream 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion.
Step 2
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Mince the garlic.
Step 4
In a heated skillet, place 25 grams of butter, melt it, and add the onion.
Step 5
Pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Step 6
Add 2 cloves of garlic and sauté until translucent.
Step 7
Add the carrots, mix, and sauté until soft. Remove from heat.
Step 8
Mix ¼ of the vegetable mixture with the ground turkey, adding a little salt and pepper to taste.
Step 9
Grease a baking dish with the remaining butter. Spread the carrot-onion mixture in an even layer.
Step 10
Cover the mixture with an even layer of ground turkey.
Step 11
Peel the zucchini and slice it thinly. If the zucchini is large, cut it into quarters.

Slice the tomatoes.
Step 13
Layer the vegetables alternately on top of the ground turkey.

Sprinkle cheese on top. Preheat the oven to 355°F and bake for 30 minutes.

Mix the sour cream with the remaining garlic, season with salt and pepper. Remove the casserole from the oven, spread the crust with sour cream, and return it for another 10 minutes.

Serve the casserole hot.
