- Turkey 5 lbs
- Sour Cream 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- White bread 5 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Apple 5 oz
- Raisins 0 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Parsley 0 oz
- Dill 0 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the filling by sautéing parsley, onion, and dill in butter, then mix with raisins, chopped apples, and bread cubes. Add boiled water and mix everything once more.
Step 2
Cut the turkey along the back and remove all bones except for the thigh and wing bones.
Step 3
Stuff the turkey with apples.
Step 4
Sew up the back, tie the wings and thighs with string, and prick in several places.
Step 5
Salt the turkey and coat it with butter or sour cream.
Step 6
Place the turkey on a baking sheet with the back side down and roast in a preheated oven until cooked through.
