Turkey Thigh with Ginger and Lemon
Main Dishes • Italian
Description
I always serve this turkey cold (sliced thinly) with a salad of fresh herbs and vegetables. Or I use it for sandwiches in the morning.
Ingredients
- Turkey 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Honey ½ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root to taste
- Lemon 1 piece
- Chicken Seasoning to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash and dry the turkey thigh.
Step 2
Place it on foil greased with vegetable oil or fat. Make deep cuts in the meat, but do not cut all the way through.
Step 3
Slice the ginger (I used about 30 grams) into thin pieces. Insert them into the cuts.
Step 4
Season with salt, drizzle with lemon juice (I used half a lemon, you can use more if the thigh is large), and sprinkle with grilling seasoning.
Step 5
Seal the foil tightly. Place in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 40 minutes (until cooked).
Step 6
Remove from the oven, turn off the oven, open the foil, brush the turkey with melted honey, and return it to the oven for just a couple of minutes.
Step 7
It can be served hot or cold, sliced into thin pieces.
