Turkey Steaks with Mozzarella
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 15 oz
- Duck Fat 1 tablespoon
- Yellow Cherry Tomatoes 0 oz
- Habanero Pepper 0 oz
- Dried onion powder 1 teaspoon
- Dijon Mustard 3 tablespoons
- Melted Cheese 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the duck fat in a skillet.
Step 2
Place the meat, cut into steaks about 2.5 cm thick. Season with salt.
Step 3
Once the bottom side is nicely browned, transfer the meat to the side.
Step 4
After 2–3 minutes, transfer to the other side.
Step 5
After another 2–3 minutes, flip to the remaining unbrowned side and reduce the heat.
Step 6
Slice the tomatoes thinly and season with salt.
Step 7
Finely chop the jalapeño.
Step 8
Spread mustard on the steaks.
Step 9
Season with dried onion and black pepper.
Step 10
Top with tomatoes and jalapeño.
Step 11
Cover with thin slices of mozzarella.
Step 12
Once the cheese melts, the steaks are ready! Transfer to a plate and serve.
