Turkey Roll-Ups with Spinach and Cheese Wrapped in Bacon
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 2 pieces
- Hard Cheese 5 oz
- Bacon 4 slices
- Frozen spinach discs 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pound the turkey fillet thinly. Lightly salt it.
Step 2
Thaw the spinach. Grate the cheese.
Step 3
Place the spinach on the fillet, leaving some space from the edge, then add and press down the cheese on top.
Step 4
Roll it up, tucking in the edges. Wrap with two strips of bacon. Secure with kitchen twine.
Step 5
Roll up the second fillet in the same way.
Step 6
Grease a small baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the roll-ups inside — they should fit snugly.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 180–375°F until cooked through. Do not overcook!
