Description

Turkey Liver with Bacon and Onions

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Onion 1 head
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Bacon 12 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 1 cup
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Turkey 10 oz
  • Salted Butter 6 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place a skillet over medium heat and heat the olive oil. Slice the onion into thin half-rings and sauté in the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Fry the bacon until crispy in a large skillet. Transfer the bacon pieces to paper towels to drain excess fat.

Step 3

Rinse the liver and slice it into thin strips. In a medium bowl, mix 2 teaspoons of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, flour, paprika, and nutmeg. Dredge the liver pieces in the mixture.

Step 4

Place the skillet over medium heat and melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Sauté the liver pieces until golden brown and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels. Serve the cooked liver with sautéed onions and bacon. Enjoy your meal!
