Turkey Fillet in Spicy Tomato Caramel
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 15 oz
- Rice Sweet Wine 5 fl oz
- Onion 3 heads
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Sweet Chili Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Ground coriander ¼ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root 0.2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Cardamom 0.1 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the turkey fillet into small pieces.
Step 2
Chop the onion coarsely (the volume of onion should be equal to that of the fillet).
Step 3
Sauté the onion with salt and sugar, pour in the wine, add the tomato paste, spices, and continue sautéing, stirring.
Step 4
Add the pieces of turkey to the onion and sauté over high heat in the resulting caramel.
Step 5
Add the sweet chili sauce and optionally, herbs.
Step 6
Serve immediately, with a side dish or as a standalone dish.
