Description

Turkey drumsticks marinated in a lemon soy marinade.

Ingredients

  • Turkey 2 pieces
  • Soy Sauce 4 spoons
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Vegetable Oil 4 spoons
  • Ground Black Pepper 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Before cooking, the turkey needs to be marinated. For this, prepare the sauce by mixing lemon juice with soy sauce, sunflower oil, and black pepper. If you prefer spicier food, you can increase the amount of spices, for example, by adding extra red chili pepper.

Step 2

This recipe uses 2 turkey legs, weighing approximately 1.5–1.8 kg in total. The turkey should be rinsed, then placed in a container and drizzled with marinade. It's best to let the turkey sit for at least 30 minutes. During this time, the legs should be turned occasionally to ensure they marinate evenly.

Step 3

Place the marinated meat on a piece of foil, and it's better to cut a larger piece so that you can wrap the bird as tightly as possible. Pinch the edges to create a sort of shape with sides and pour the marinade into it. After that, completely close the 'envelope' and put it in the oven.

Step 4

The meat should be baked for 2 hours at a temperature of 390°F. Carefully remove the cooked turkey from the foil, and you can drizzle the remaining broth over the side dish, such as rice.
