Ingredients

  • Pitted Wild Apricots 5 oz
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Port Wine 5 fl oz
  • Brown Sugar 4 tablespoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Turkey 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the turkey fillet into small pieces.

Step 2

Peel and chop the garlic.

Step 3

For the marinade, mix the garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and sugar.

Step 4

Pour the prepared marinade over the meat and refrigerate for 3 hours.

Step 5

Wash the apricots, cut them in half, remove the pits, and soak them in port wine. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 6

Alternately thread the meat and apricots onto wooden skewers.

Step 7

Grill the shashlik in vegetable oil on both sides for 5 minutes, basting with the marinade.
