Tuna with Vegetables
Ingredients
- Tuna 5 oz
- Carrot 1 piece
- Brussels Sprouts 4 pieces
- Pickled Cauliflower 4 pieces
- Broccoli 4 pieces
- Frozen green bean pods 0 oz
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Walnuts 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Steam the tuna, green beans, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower for 10 minutes.
Step 2
While the fish and vegetables are cooking, peel the carrot and grate it coarsely.
Step 3
Slice one lemon into rounds and squeeze the juice from the second lemon.
Step 4
Chop the walnuts finely.
Step 5
Take a baking dish (I used a glass one, but a cast iron one works too). Pour a drop of olive oil and place lemon slices at the bottom. Sprinkle half of the grated carrot on top, then layer the fish and vegetables, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle some chopped walnuts, then cover everything with the remaining grated carrot and drizzle with lemon juice again.
Step 6
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 320°F.
Step 7
Remove from the oven, take off the foil, garnish with the remaining walnuts, and serve in the same dish.
