
Tuna and Plum Skewers in Chinese Five Spice Marinade

Description
You can use bamboo skewers if you don't have small metal ones. Just soak the bamboo skewers in water for 15–20 minutes beforehand.
Ingredients
- Honey ½ tablespoon
- Sesame Oil ½ tablespoon
- Chinese Five Spice 1 tablespoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil ¼ cup
- Plums 6 pieces
- Tuna 20 oz
- Lemongrass ½ tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix all the ingredients (except for the fish and plums) in a small bowl.
Step 2
Cut the tuna into portion-sized pieces. Cut the plums into quarters.
Step 3
Place the fish and plums in the marinade and stir to ensure both the meat and plums are well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Step 4
Preheat the grill.
Step 5
Alternating, thread the meat and plums onto the skewers and grill for 3–4 minutes on each side.
