  • Lamb 20 oz
  • Lamb Fat Netting 5 oz
  • Onion 5 oz
  • Rice 5 oz
  • Salt 0 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper 0 oz
  • Black Cumin (Cumin) 0 oz
  • Paprika 0 oz
  • Ground coriander 0 oz
  • Chopped Green Onions 0 oz
  • Canned Grape Leaves 5 oz
  • Chicken Broth 35 fl oz
  • Butter 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Filling: Pass the lamb and lamb fat through a meat grinder, finely chop the onion, add rice, salt, pepper, spices, and finely chopped cilantro. Mix everything well.

Step 2

Tokosh: Cut a circle from each grape leaf, place the prepared filling inside, and wrap it like small cabbage rolls. Layer the prepared tokosh in a pot, pour in the chicken broth, add butter, and a little more salt and pepper. Cook until fully done.

Step 3

When serving, garnish with fresh cilantro, basil, and sliced onion. Serve with sour cream.
