Tilapia with Spicy Seasoning and Lemon Asparagus
Ingredients
- Asparagus 0 lbs
- Mild Chili Spice 2 tablespoons
- Ground Dried Garlic ½ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Tilapia 20 oz
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the asparagus cut into small pieces until tender in a double boiler or steamer for about 4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and cool.
Step 2
On a plate, mix the chili powder, garlic, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Coat the fish in the spicy mixture.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the fish and fry until cooked through and golden brown on both sides for about 5–7 minutes. Transfer to plates and keep warm.
Step 4
Quickly pour the lemon juice into the skillet, add the remaining salt and asparagus. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Serve alongside the fish.
