Tilapia with a Bread Crust
Ingredients
- Tilapia 2 pieces
- Onion 2 heads
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Borodinsky Bread 4 slices
- Hard Cheese 2 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Rosemary to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into rings and place them at the bottom of a baking dish. No need to grease the dish with oil.
Step 2
Remove the crusts from the bread and chop it in a blender. Mix the crumbs with grated cheese.
Step 3
Wash the tilapia fillet, pat it dry, and place it on top of the onion. Add salt, pepper, and herbs to taste. Pour the cream over the fish.
Step 4
Beat the eggs with salt.
Step 5
Mix the bread crumbs with the eggs and spread the mixture over the fish. Drizzle with vegetable oil and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Step 6
Bake at 180–390°F (350–400 degrees Fahrenheit) until golden brown for 25–30 minutes.
