Tilapia in Milk

Ingredients

  • Tilapia 20 oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Milk 10 fl oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Fish Oil to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Thaw the tilapia fillet and let it drain.

Step 2

Cut the fish into small pieces about 5 cm in size.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, seasonings, salt, pepper).

Step 4

In another bowl, mix the liquid ingredients — first beat the egg, then, while continuing to beat, add the milk.

Step 5

Fry the fillet over medium heat for 5–7 minutes without flipping, after coating the pieces in flour and spices.

Step 6

Slice the onion into half rings.

Step 7

After flipping the fish, add the onion.

Step 8

After frying the fish for the same amount of time on the other side, pour the milk and egg mixture over it and cover with a lid. Simmer on low heat for another 10–15 minutes.
