Description

You can also prepare teriyaki salmon skewers in the same way (see photo). Do everything the same but thread the salmon cut into large cubes onto wooden skewers.

Ingredients

  • Ginger 5 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Date honey 1 tablespoon
  • Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Toasted Sesame 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame Oil to taste
  • Smoked haddock fillet 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the teriyaki sauce, peel 2 cm of ginger root and grate it finely.

Step 2

Crush the garlic using a garlic press.

Step 3

Mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce with 1 tablespoon of honey, add the ginger and garlic, mix well, and pour this mixture over the salmon.

Step 4

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 6

Drain the sauce from the pieces of salmon and set it aside.

Step 7

Place the salmon on baking paper and bake for about 15 minutes in the oven on the grill setting, periodically brushing with the sauce using a culinary brush.

Step 8

Remove the salmon and carefully dip it in the sauce mixed with sesame oil on all sides.

Step 9

Gently roll the salmon in sesame seeds.

Step 10

Serve with rice, drizzled with sauce on top.
