Teriyaki Chicken
Main Dishes • Japanese
Description
Teriyaki is a Japanese technique involving grilling with glazing: 'teri' means 'shine', and 'yaki' means 'to grill'. The product should ultimately acquire a caramel shine, which is achieved through a marinade made of soy sauce, sake (or mirin), and sugar. For convenience, you can use store-bought teriyaki sauce — this is a special sauce for the teriyaki technique that already contains all the necessary ingredients.
