Tender Chicken Liver with Sour Cream
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver 20 oz
- 20% Sour Cream 6 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce 1 teaspoon
- Parsley ½ bunch
- Onion 1 piece
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Thyme 1 sprig
- Rosemary 1 sprig
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the onion coarsely.
Step 2
Place the onion in the heated oil in the pan.
Step 3
As soon as the onion browns, stir and reduce the heat to just above medium.
Step 4
Place the rosemary and thyme on top of the onion.
Step 5
Then add the liver.
Step 6
Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, and soy sauce.
Step 7
After 4–5 minutes, add the resulting sauce and stir.
Step 8
Reduce the heat and cover with a lid.
Step 9
After 7–8 minutes, stir and add salt.
Step 10
After another minute, remove from heat and transfer to a deep dish. Remove the rosemary and thyme.
Step 11
Add the parsley leaves and serve without mixing.
