Tender beef stewed with carrots and onions
Ingredients
- Beef 10 oz
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Campbell's Beef Broth 15 fl oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the beef under cold running water. Cut into small pieces against the grain.
Step 2
Peel the carrots, slice them into rounds, and place half at the bottom of the pot.
Step 3
Peel the onion, chop it finely, and add half to the carrots.
Step 4
Layer the chopped meat on top of the vegetables. Cover with the remaining carrots and onions.
Step 5
Pour hot(!), but not boiling, beef broth over everything. It should completely cover the contents of the pot.
Step 6
Add spices to taste. For me, it's just salt and pepper.
Step 7
Place the pot on low heat. The liquid should not boil, just simmer gently.
Step 8
Let it stew for two hours.
