Description

The beef turns out incredibly tender, just melts in your mouth, even if the meat was quite tough to begin with.

Ingredients

  • Beef 25 oz
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Soy Sauce 4 tablespoons
  • Ketchup 2 tablespoons
  • Vinegar essence 1 tablespoon
  • Khmeli-suneli 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the beef into small cubes (2–2.5 cm sides).

Step 2

Quickly sauté the meat in a pan or in the slow cooker. While the meat is browning, mix the sauce (combine soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and khmeli-suneli well in a cup; you can also add a bit of mustard and a pepper mix).

Step 3

Place the meat in the slow cooker. Add the sauce. Pour in water so that the meat is completely covered. Set the slow cooker to the stewing mode for 2 hours.

Step 4

While the meat is stewing, finely chop the onion and carrot and sauté them in a small amount of olive oil until golden.

Step 5

When the beef is done stewing, add the onion and carrot and reduce the liquid.
