Sweet Seville Turkey with Nuts and Dates
Ingredients
- Turkey 1 piece
- Turkey 0 lbs
- Pistachios 5 oz
- Walnuts 100 pieces
- Ham 5 oz
- Peeled chestnuts 5 oz
- White Vermouth ½ cup
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Dates 5 oz
- Brandy ½ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take a whole turkey (approximately 8-10 kg). Carefully remove the bones by cutting open the back.
Step 2
For the stuffing, mix diced turkey breast (1 kg additional), dried ham, nuts, chestnuts, dates, brandy, wine, and eggs. Add salt and pepper.
Step 3
Stuff the turkey with the prepared mixture and sew up the body.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 330°F. Place the turkey inside for 3 hours. Occasionally baste the turkey with the juices from the pan.
Step 5
Slice the cooked turkey and serve with the stuffing as a side dish.
