Description

It's best to alternate layers of potato and sweet potato. The orange sweet potato takes longer to bake than the potato, so it's important to ensure everything is thoroughly cooked.

Ingredients

  • Sweet Potato 1 piece
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Milk 5 fl oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Salt a pinch
  • Ground Black Pepper a pinch
  • Dried parsnip a pinch
  • Suluguni Cheese 10 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash and peel the potato and sweet potato. Slice them into thin rounds. The potato can be soaked in water to remove starch. In a separate bowl, crack the egg, pour in the milk, and add finely chopped garlic, dried herbs, salt, and pepper to taste. Whisk with a fork.

Grease a baking dish with a piece of butter. Then layer the potato and sweet potato. Once half of the layers are laid out, season with salt and pepper and place small pieces of butter on top. Then add the next layer, season again with salt and pepper, and add more butter pieces.
