Sturgeon à la Russe
Ingredients
- Fillet of Sturgeon 10 oz
- Salad Potatoes 10 oz
- Sour Cream 7½ tablespoons
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
- Sugar ½ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the sturgeon fillet into portion-sized pieces. Grease a baking dish with fat, place the fish in it, and sprinkle with ground pepper.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and boil until tender, slice them, and layer them on top of the fish.
Step 3
Prepare the sauce - add salt, sugar, mustard, and ground black pepper to the sour cream - and pour it over the fish and potatoes.
Step 4
Sprinkle with grated cheese, drizzle with oil, and bake in an oven preheated to 390°F for 20-30 minutes.
Step 5
Garnish with herbs before serving.
