Description

Stuffed squid with mushrooms and cheese

Ingredients

  • Onion 2 heads
  • Squid 4 pieces
  • Carrot 2 pieces
  • Champignons 30 oz
  • Chicken Egg 4 pieces
  • Cheese Spread 5 oz
  • Herbs to taste
  • Olive Oil 4 spoons
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the eggs. Finely chop the onion, peel and grate the carrot, then sauté them in a small amount of olive or sunflower oil in a skillet until golden brown.

Step 2

Wash the mushrooms, chop them finely, and sauté over low heat for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Chop the boiled eggs and grate the cheese using a coarse grater.

Step 4

First, rinse the squid and remove the gray membrane, as it can be bitter. Combine all the prepared filling ingredients, add a bit of mayonnaise, salt, and pepper, and stuff the squid. Secure with a toothpick to prevent the filling from falling out.

Step 5

Place the stuffed squid on a sheet of aluminum foil, brush them with oil, and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs. Fold the edges of the foil tightly and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 390°F.

Step 6

Unwrap the foil, remove the squid, and serve.
