Stuffed Potato Patties

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 30 oz
  • Ground meat 10 oz
  • Baking Tomatoes 2 pieces
  • Onion 1 head
  • Spiced Tomato Juice 5 fl oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Herbs 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft, then drain and cool.

Step 2

Mash through a sieve. Season with salt and pepper, add chopped dill and one raw egg. Mix well.

Step 3

Sauté the ground meat with onion, adding salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4

Set aside part of the meat for the filling.

Step 5

For the sauce, add the remaining meat to the sauce, butter, and water, and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Step 6

For the sauce, finely chop the peeled tomato, add tomato paste, tomato juice, garlic, and herbs.

Step 7

Form a patty from the mashed potatoes (wet your hands with cold water to prevent sticking), place the meat filling inside, wrap it up, and coat in breadcrumbs. Fry in oil.

Step 8

Drizzle the hot patties with the prepared sauce. Sprinkle with herbs.

Step 9

Serve with vegetables or sour cream.
