Stuffed Peppers with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Pickled Chanterelles 10 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 4 pieces
- Rice ¾ cup
- Tomatoes 5 pieces
- Dill to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the finely chopped champignon mushrooms and 2 tomatoes.
Step 2
Add the rinsed rice, pour in 1 cup of water, season with salt and pepper, add finely chopped dill and basil, and simmer on low heat.
Step 3
Wash the pepper pods, cut off the stems, and remove the seeds. Fill the peppers with the stuffing and place them in a saucepan.
Step 4
For the tomato sauce, chop the remaining tomatoes, sauté them in oil, season with salt, and dilute with 1 cup of hot water. Pour the sauce over the stuffed peppers. Simmer until cooked. Serve garnished with herbs.
