Stuffed Beets
Ingredients
- Meat 20 oz
- Yellow Beets 0 lbs
- Rice ½ cup
- Onion 2 heads
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Sour Cream 1 jar
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the beets, bake them in the oven until partially cooked, then peel and scoop out the center with a teaspoon.
Step 2
Cook the rice. Cut the washed meat, pass it through a meat grinder, and mix it with the boiled fluffy rice and finely chopped sautéed onion, adding salt and pepper.
Step 3
Fill the beets with the meat and rice mixture, place them in a greased skillet, and bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes.
Step 4
Before serving, pour sour cream over the beets, return them to the oven for a few minutes, then transfer to a dish and pour the resulting sauce over them.
