Striploin Steak
Ingredients
- Striploin steak 10 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix to taste
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Butter 0 oz
- Pink Himalayan Salt to taste
- Mild Chili Spice to taste
- Flaky sea salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Let the steak rest for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Step 2
Brush with olive oil on all sides.
Step 3
Season with coarse sea salt.
Step 4
Sprinkle with pepper mix. Rub the spices well on all sides.
Step 5
Place the steak on a preheated dry grill pan over high heat. Sear for 2–4 minutes.
Step 6
Rotate the steak in the pan to create grill marks. Sear for another 1–2 minutes.
Step 7
Flip the steak. Sear for 2–3 minutes.
Step 8
Move the steak and reduce the heat. Sear for another 5 minutes.
Step 9
Transfer the cooked steak onto foil.
Step 10
Top with a couple of slices of butter.
Step 11
Add ground chili on top.
Step 12
Wrap in foil and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Step 13
Transfer to a plate, add coarse Himalayan salt, and serve.
