Stir-Fried Beef with Broccoli and Ginger

Ingredients

  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Grated Ginger Root 1 tablespoon
  • Veal Tenderloin 20 oz
  • Broccoli 20 oz
  • Water ½ cup
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Corn Starch 2 tablespoons
  • Campbell's Beef Broth 1½ cups
  • Peanut Sprouts 1 cup

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a bowl, mix the diced meat, minced garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Let it sit for a while.

Step 2

Rinse the broccoli well and cut it into small florets.

Step 3

In a wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat. Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 2 minutes, then pour in the water and cook until the water evaporates. Transfer the broccoli to a plate.

Step 4

In the wok, add the remaining oil and the meat. Stir-fry over high heat for 3 minutes.

Step 5

Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the broth and cornstarch. Pour the mixture into the meat and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.

Step 6

Add the broccoli and bean sprouts and cook for another 2 minutes, until all ingredients are heated through.
