Stir-Fried Beef with Asparagus and Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Soy Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Rice Sweet Wine 3 tablespoons
- Veal Tenderloin 20 oz
- Minced garlic 3 tablespoons
- Corn Starch 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root 3 tablespoons
- Asparagus 20 oz
- Shimeji mushrooms 20 oz
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Chili jam 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Broth ½ cup
- Sesame Oil 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice wine, half of the garlic and ginger, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and mix well. Let it marinate.
Step 2
In a wok, heat half of the vegetable oil and stir-fry the beef until cooked over medium heat. Transfer to a plate.
Step 3
In the wok, add the remaining vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for a minute until fragrant. Add the thinly sliced mushroom caps and stir-fry until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
Then add the chopped asparagus and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, then add the chili sauce, beef, and broth. Cover and simmer for a few minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat and add sesame oil.
