Stewed Buckwheat with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Morels 15 oz
- Buckwheat Groats 1 cup
- Boiling water 2 cups
- Carrot 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sort the buckwheat, rinse it in cold water, transfer it to a pot, pour boiling water over it, and cover it, then set aside.
Step 2
Sauté the mushrooms until golden with the onion and grated carrot.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 4
In a heatproof dish, layer the buckwheat with water, then top with the mushrooms along with the oil they were sautéed in, cover the dish with a lid or wrap it in foil.
Step 5
Place in the oven for 1 hour.
