- Buckwheat Groats 5 oz
- Lean Beef 15 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Onion ½ head
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Scallions 0 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the ground beef, cut the carrot and peppers into strips. Place the ground beef in a heated skillet and spread it out, then add the chopped vegetables and sauté over medium heat. You can add a little water. Put a pot of water on high heat.
Step 2
Slice the onion into half rings and finely chop the garlic. Once the ground beef darkens, add the garlic and onion to the skillet.
Step 3
Add the buckwheat to the boiling water and cook until partially done. While the buckwheat is cooking, pour a little more water into the skillet and simmer with the lid on, adding spices along the way.
Step 4
Pour the partially cooked buckwheat into the skillet, add the green onion and butter, and simmer until fully cooked.
