Steamed Fish with Shrimp
Ingredients
- Blue Ling Fillet 35 oz
- Tiger shrimp in brine 8 pieces
- White Cabbage 1 head
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root 1 teaspoon
- Sweet Chili Sauce to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thaw the shrimp, peel them, chop roughly, and marinate for about 15 minutes in a mixture of soy sauce, ginger, and grated garlic.
Step 2
Cut the fish fillet into portion-sized pieces and also marinate for 15 minutes in soy sauce, separately from the shrimp.
Step 3
Separate the cabbage leaves, cut off the thick vein, and place the fish fillet on the thick edge of the leaf, followed by some shrimp, then roll it up like a cabbage roll.
Step 4
Place the rolls in a steamer, ensuring they do not touch each other.
Step 5
Cook for no more than 10 minutes.
Step 6
Serve with sweet chili sauce.
