Steaks in wine sauce
Ingredients
- Steaks 30 oz
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Red Grape Juice 1 glass
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat a large cast-iron skillet or grill over high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Sear each side for at least 3 minutes, depending on your preferred level of doneness. Place the steaks on a plate and cover with foil.
Step 3
In the same skillet, pour in the wine and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally and scraping the sides of the skillet with a wooden spoon, until the wine thickens slightly, about 4 to 6 minutes.
Step 4
Cut the butter into cubes.
Step 5
Remove the skillet from the heat and, while constantly stirring, add the cubes of butter, not adding the next one until the previous one has melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Serve the steaks with sauce.
