Squid Stewed in Sour Cream

Ingredients
- Squid 30 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
- Sour Cream 10 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Water 5 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Parsley to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the squid into strips, sticks, or small cubes, sprinkle with salt and ground pepper, mix with sifted flour, place in a sieve, and shake to remove excess flour.
Step 2
Fry the squid, stirring, until a light golden crust forms in vegetable oil.
Step 3
Transfer the fried squid to a pot, add the sautéed chopped onion, pour in the sour cream and hot water, add salt, cover with a lid, and simmer for 20–30 minutes on low heat.
Step 4
When serving, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
