Ingredients

  • Cilantro 1 bunch
  • Bomb rice 10 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Cuttlefish Eggs 5 pieces
  • Squid 5 pieces
  • Tiger shrimp in brine 15 pieces
  • Tagine Spice Mix a pinch
  • Lime 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

First, clean the shrimp, leaving the head and tail intact, and remove the intestine from the back of the shrimp using a toothpick or any method you prefer.

Step 2

Take a large deep frying pan, if you don't have a paella pan, and sauté the seafood in it one type at a time for about two minutes each, then remove them back to a bowl.

Step 3

Next, sauté the rice in the same oil with the added paella spice for about two minutes, and don't forget to boil some water while you're sautéing.

Step 4

After the rice has taken on a slight golden color, pour the boiled water into the pan, reduce the heat, and temporarily forget about the rice.

Step 5

When you notice that the water has reduced a bit, you can layer the mussels, squid, and cuttlefish into the rice one by one. Let it cook for another five minutes.

Step 6

After that, add the pepper and shrimp to the pan and leave it on the stove for about 5-7 minutes. After this time, remove the pan from the heat, garnish the paella with chopped cilantro and four lime wedges.
