Main Dishes • American
Description
If you don't have a grill, you can simply sauté the shrimp in a skillet with a little olive oil.
Ingredients
- Blue Cheese 0 oz
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Onion 0 oz
- Milk 1½ teaspoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice 2 teaspoons
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 25 oz
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Butter 0 oz
- Chili jam to taste
- Celery stalk 1 piece
- Salt ¾ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ¾ teaspoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion, crumble the parsley leaves, squeeze the juice from the lemon, and break the cheese into small pieces.
Step 2
Cut the celery stalks lengthwise into several pieces, then crosswise to make pieces about 6-8 cm long.
Step 3
Mix the sour cream, onion, parsley, lemon juice, milk, and blue cheese for the sauce. Season with salt (1/8 teaspoon) and pepper (1/2 teaspoon).
Step 4
Sprinkle the shrimp with salt (1/2 teaspoon) and pepper (1/2 teaspoon), drizzle with olive oil, and mix.
Step 5
Place the shrimp on a preheated grill for 7-8 minutes. If using a gas grill, turn once during cooking.
Step 6
Melt the butter in a double boiler and mix with the hot pepper sauce (amount to taste) or, for example, Frank's RedHot (1/4 cup).
Step 7
Drizzle the shrimp with the butter and hot sauce mixture and mix well.
Step 8
Serve the shrimp with celery and the previously prepared blue cheese sauce.
