Description
Spicy pork stew with paprika, chili peppers, and potatoes
Ingredients
- Potato 9 pieces
- Pork tenderloin 20 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Paprika 1 tablespoon
- Lime 1 piece
- Chicken Broth 0 qt
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the pork into medium-sized cubes (2-3 cm) and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Peel and cut the potatoes into large chunks. While you cook the meat, place the potatoes in cold water.
Step 3
Heat a large deep skillet and sauté the pork in hot oil, stirring constantly. After about 10-12 minutes, remove the meat and transfer it to a bowl.
Step 4
Drain most of the fat from the pan and sauté the finely chopped onion for about 5-7 minutes. Add the finely chopped chili pepper, garlic, as well as paprika and cumin. Continue to sauté for another minute.
Step 5
Return the meat to the skillet, add the potatoes and broth. Bring everything to a boil and continue cooking over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the liquid thickens and the meat and potatoes become tender.
Step 6
Add the juice of one lime, along with salt and pepper to taste, to the finished stew.
